Welcome to Capel Dog Training
Situated Between Dover and Folkestone
We are a Kennel Club Listed dog training club based in Capel-Le-Ferne, between Dover and Folkestone. For the summer months, we are outside in Hougham in order to make the best of the good weather.
We are a non-profit making club and all of the instructors are volunteers.
We offer a selection of classes starting with The Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Award which lasts for seven weeks. Once puppies and their owners have completed the Puppy course they have the opportunity to attend further classes in which they can work towards the The Kennel Club Good Citizens Scheme Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. We even have an advanced class for dogs and owners who have gained their Kennel Club Good Citizens Gold Award with us and would like to continue with training.
All classes are 45 minutes long
All breeds and sizes of dogs are welcome
A class especially for small breed dogs is available
Classes are run by three experienced instructors, all of whom are members of The Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme

Dog Show
As part of the Jubilee Hythe Festival, Capel Dog Training are organising a dog show, in aid of the Pilgrims Hospices, with obedience classes and novelty classes. See our events page for more details.
