The Cheriton classes take place on Wednesday evenings at St Martin's Community Centre which is just off the M20, close to Tesco's supermarket. There is a car park available.
There are four classes available every Wednesday
CLASS ONE is a six week puppy course starting at 6:30pm, in the large hall, for puppies up to 6 months old. Courses with availability are on the 'Home' page.
CLASS TWO is a Good Citizens Bronze class starting at 7:15pm, in the large hall
CLASS THREE is a Silver/Gold class starting at 6:00pm, in the small hall
CLASS FOUR is a non Good Citizens class for dogs that have finished their basic training, starting at 8:00pm in the large hall.
All dogs must be of good temperament. For enquiries contact us by email.
The six week puppy course costs £35-00, all other classes cost £5-00 per week, payable as a monthly fee on the first class of the month. Classes unattended are not refundable, I'm afraid.
With the exception of the 'After Gold' class, all classes are based around The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme (GCDS Award Descriptions) which has been in operation since 1992 and was designed specifically for the pet dog owner as opposed to more serious obedience training. It is designed around everyday situations in order to help with control of your dog and general manners, incorporating many domestic obedience exercises and confidence building.
